Nagaland COVID-19 update
69 suspected cases test negative, one result awaited
DIMAPUR, APRIL 10 (MExN): 69 suspected COVID-19 samples from Nagaland have tested negative as of 5:00pm April 10.
A total of 70 samples from the State have been sent for testing, and result is awaited for one sample as of Friday.
Principal Secretary for Home, Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, during the daily briefing today, informed that a total of 5317 persons have signed up till now in the ncovid-19 Nagaland App where 3692 persons have self declared their details and 1625 are with incomplete details.
“I would like to inform that the current users can update to the new version 3.0 of the app with the same ID,” the Principal Secretary appealed.
He meanwhile assured that the position of availability of food grains, medicines, POL and other essential goods and commodities continues to be normal in the State.
Sinha further thanked the various civil society organizations and NGOs in the state for coming forward and providing assistance to the District Administration and Police for the various lock down measures, and also for voluntarily extending help at many places for providing some much needed assistance and relief to the daily wagers and other needy people, many of whom are facing challenging times because of the COVID-19 lockdown.
He appealed to all people to stay home, and come out only when it is unavoidable for buying essential goods and commodities.
