DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): Members of the official Arsenal Supporters' Club Nagaland got together and contributed 1000 kgs of rice to the International Red Cross Society (ICRC) Nagaland on June 1, who in turn distributed the same to the needy.


The club also handed out refreshments to the frontline workers in various parts of Dimapur. 


The Arsenal Supporters club, Nagaland edition, was established in 2018 and the current chairman of the group is Orenthung Ovung. “In order to reach out to those in need, the Arsenal Supporters club felt that this small gesture would go a long way in reaching out to someone in need,” a press release from the club’s Secretary, Imna Longkumer stated. 


He thanked the IRCS for being forthcoming and giving them the opportunity to serve the people through the ambit of their club, Arsenal FC. Currently, there are more than 500 members in the official Arsenal Nagaland Supporters Trust.
