Nagaland Governor Mukhi extends Christmas and New Year greetings

Kohima, December 22 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland and Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Wednesday extended greetings to the people of the state and wished them ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

In his message issued through the PRO Raj Bhavan, Governor Mukhi urged the people to renew their determination to follow the examples of forgiveness, peace and love as they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25.

 “As we celebrate and exchange good wishes, in kind and in words, with families and friends let us celebrate responsibly and march towards building a safe, developed and a prosperous Nagaland,” he said while extending greetings along with his wife Prem Mukhi.

“We hope this Christmas will be especially wonderful and that it will usher in a new year of peace and through this glorious occasion of Christmas,” the Governor's message stated. 

The Governor and his wife expressed hope that the “feeling of love and cheer will fill the hearts of everyone throughout this holiday season and in the coming year.”
