Nagaland’s Governor RN Ravi today said that the state government continues its endeavor to develop sports and provide the requisite infrastructure and opportunities for the youth to excel in it.
In his address to fifth session, Ravi said that in collaboration with the Baichung Bhutia Football Schools and Nagaland Football Association, the Department of Youth Resources and Sports has organized Coaches Development Workshop during October 2019 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima to boost football coaching skills through a specialized program by India's largest football academy.
He said the upcoming Dr T Ao North East Football Championship is tentatively fixed to be hosted by the State from January 18 to 28.
