Nagaland: Hindi teachers ask govt to release pending salaries

Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Peren Unit and Kiphire Unit, in separate press statements have appealed to State Government and its concerned Department to release the pending salaries. 

ANHTU, Peren Unit President Kewidinbo Zeliang and General Secretary, Bamdi Zeliang urged the Government to release the pending salaries of CSS-2012 to 2015 batch from November 2021 to January 2022 along with arrear at the earliest. The unit lamented that even after the completion of 10 years service the concern Department could not deliver its genuine demands. 

Meanwhile, the ANTHU Kiphire Unit has also appealed to the department of School Education to immediately release the pending salary i.e. (three months) of CSS Hindi teacher (2012, 2015) batch.

“CSS Hindi teacher are facing lots of problems and difficulties of irregularities of salary,” ANTHU Kiphire Unit President Seroba I Sangtam pealed in a press release while demanding to immediately release the pending salary within the month of February. 

In case of failure to meet the demand, it caution that all CSS Hindi teachers will take immense action which might impact the career of the students “since the teachers will not perform their duties without salary.”
