Inter-ward competition in Kohima
As part of its awareness campaign on the importance of citizen participation on the Ease of Living Index' 2019 survey, the Kohima Smart City will be launching an Inter Ward Wall Painting with Slogan Competition on February 7, 4:00 pm in the KMC-KSCDL Conference Hall. Kovi Meyase CEO, Kohima Smart City Development Limited Nagaland has requested all the ward chairmen and youth presidents to attend the launch.
PAC-NCD emergency meet
PAC-NCD has convened an emergency meeting on February 7, 3:00 pm at the Naga Council Dimapur's Conference Hall to discuss important issues. PAC-NCD Convenor Vekhosayi Nyekha and Press Secretary Richard Haolai have requested all the presidents and secretaries of 19 Naga tribal bodies and all non Naga Dimapur based organizations, DUCCF, BAN, DCCI, NWHD, DNSU, Sadar GBs, Chumukedima Chamber of Commerce, EDBA to attend the meeting on priority.
NPCC consultative meet
NPCC Working President Khriedi Theunuo has convened a consultative meeting of NPCC office bearers on February 11, 11:00 am at Congress Bhavan, Kohima. As per a press release from NPCC General Secretary (Admn), N Yona Konyak, the meet will discuss and work out strategies for the proposed Civil Disobedience programme to press the GOI for implementation of the political solution. It has informed all the NPCC working presidents, vice presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, treasurer and frontal chiefs to attend the meeting compulsorily.
DIPR meet on Feb 11
Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland has convened a meeting for the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on February 11, 10:00 am at the Chief Secretary's Conference Hall. Toy in a circular informed that the house will discuss on matters related to Government advertisement rates and payments. All concerned members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
Tuensang DPDB meet deferred
The proposed Tuensang DPDB (District Planning and Development Board) meeting for the month of February has been deferred to February 17. Toshi Wungtung, Chairman DPDB Tuensang in a press release informed that the time and venue remains the same. All the DPDB members are requested to note the change of date and attend the meeting positively.
Wokha DPDB meet postponed
Vice Chairman DPDB Wokha & Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has informed that due to the forthcoming Assembly Session, the Wokha DPDB meeting for the month of February has been postponed till further notice. In this regard, all members have been requested to bear with the inconvenience.
