Launch of IPPI Kiphire today
Launching programme of Intensified Pulse Polio immunization (IPPI) 2020 Kiphire District will be held on January 19, 7:00 am at District Hospital Kiphire. The programme aims to cover all children in the age group 0-5 years in the year 2020. As per DIPR report, NID round have been planned in the district which is scheduled to start on January 19. In the launching programme, Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Sarita Yadav IAS will give a short speech and K Pewezo Khalo DPO- UIP/ RCH will present the keynote address.

AR rally in Kohima garrison
Assam Rifles Ex-Serviceman (ARESM) rally for all districts of Nagaland will be held on January 30, 8:00 am at Kohima garrison. ARESM, Veer Naris and dependents from all districts are requested to contact nearest Assam Rifles units for transport and accommodation, said a press release from Lt Col L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N). Various stalls would be set-up to address grievances of ARESM, Veer Naris and widows viz recruitment update, CGHS, banking, preparing and amendment of Aadhar and PAN card. Medical, Eye, ENT and dental consultation will also be assisted by specialist doctors, the release added.
