ANHTU Dma unit Silver Jubilee on November 22
Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has informed all the Government Hindi Teachers under Dimapur District to attend the Silver Jubilee Celebration on November 22 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima, compulsorily. The Union has arranged buses with stoppage as follows: NST Bus Station (Near Railway Gate) at 6:00 am, Burma Camp Junction, Purana Bazar (Hollohon Petrol Pump), Padampukhuri Gate, 4th Mile (Agri Expo Gate), 7th Mile (Near SBI), Medziphema Police Point. GMS Kma condemns alleged murder
Kohima, November 20 (MExN): The faculty and students of Government Middle School (GMS) D Khel, Kohima has condemned the alleged murder of one of their student and friend. A press release from Head Teacher, GMS D Khel, Kohima stated that the murder was ‘reprehensible’ and hoped that the criminal(s) irrespective of age be prosecuted as per the law. “It is not enough to dissociate ourselves from the dreadful act but we must ensure that appalling crimes like these are never repeated,” added the release. The School further offered its condolences to the bereaved family.
Nagaland to observe Constitution Day
Kohima, November 20 (MExN): The State of Nagaland along with the rest of the Country will be observing the "Constitution Day 2018" at Raj Bhavan on November 26, 10:00 am where the "Preamble to the Constitution of India" will be administered as Pledge. According to DIPR all AHODs/HODs have been informed to attend the programme positively.
Dimapur Police arrest bike lifter
Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): Dimapur Police arrested one person Japet N. Chophy, Dist- Zbto, P/Add- Burma Camp, Dimapur on criminal charge of bike lifting on November 18. According to PRO Dimapur, a case has been registered in East Police station for further investigation.
