KMC notifies on mobile food stall in Night Bazaar Area
Kohima, October 25 (MExN): Administrator KMC Kovi Meyase has inform all the mobile food stall owners in Night Bazaar Area, that henceforth with effect from October 25, all concerned are directed to vacate their occupied area by 9:00 pm. Moreover, they are directed to park their food carts at the Old KMC Office area at Rs 30 per night by 9:30 pm, failing which, such food carts shall be seized and fines imposed. Further, their permits shall also be cancelled, it added.
NJCF appeals all churches for prayers
Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) today appealed and reminded all churches and believers to pray for the peaceful outcome of Indo-Naga political talks on October 27 and to observe prayer and fasting on November 2. Reverend Vangpong Phom, General Secretary NCRC in a press release reminded all Churches and believers to observe earnestly, “particularly NCRC churches to organize fasting program thoroughly.”
CMO Mkg notifies on grade III & IV medical board exam
Mokokchung, October 25 (MExN): As notified earlier, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung, Dr R Chubala Aier has notified that the Medical Board examination for service confirmation and invalidation for grade III & IV staff of Mokokchung district will be conducted on November 1 and 2 in the Chief Medical Officer’s Office, Mokokchung from 10:00 am as per the date given below. On November 1 – Superintendent of Police, 13 NAP (IR), District Economics & Statistics Officer, Executive Engineer PHED, Assistant Labour Commisioner's Office, GHS Dibuia, GPS Chungtia, Divisional Forest Office, Executive Engineer PWD (R & B) Mangkolemba, District Horticulture Office. On November 2 – Medical Superintendent IMDH, DVBO (NVBDCP), District Public Relation Office, District Employment Office, Urban Development Office, Food & Civil Supplies Office, Superintendent of Excise & Prohibition Office, District institute of Education & Training (DIET), District Planning Machinery Office, District Social & Welfare Office, Chief Medical Office.
Dimapur Police apprehends 6 persons
Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): Dimapur Police on October 25 apprehended six persons for extortion and theft on separate incidents. As per a press release from Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, two persons – Mughaho Zhimo (47 years) Under Secretary of NSCN (IM) of 3rd Mile, Dimapur and Anito Chishi (35years) Liaison Officer (FGN) of Thilixu village Dimapur were arrested in connection with two separate cases related to extortion charges from the various transport agencies in Dimapur. In this connection, two cases have been registered at Dimapur East Police Station for further investigation. On the same day, Dimapur Police apprehended four persons from 3rd Mile, Dimapur and recovered the following items from their possession: Two stolen M/Cycles; contraband ganja – 100 gram; one LPG gas cylinder. The accused were identified as Nito Swu (22 years); Vituna Swu (19 years); Kitoho Aye (24 years); Vishika Achumi. In this connection, a case has been registered at Diphupar Police Station for further investigation.
ENCSU meet
Kohima, October 25 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland College Students' Union (ENCSU) has convened a meeting on October 28, 11:30 am at DUDA Guest House, Kohima. ENCSU in a press release has requested all the presidents and general secretaries of college students from Kohima unit and eastern general secretary in college students council from Kohima base are informed to attend the said meeting mandatorily. If any respective presidents and general secretaries fail to attend, they will be dealt with action accordingly, ENCSU informed.
