NBCD general meeting today

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 27 (MExN): The Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has convened a general public meeting on October 28 at 9:00am at the council hall. A press release from the NBCD Chairman, E Jon Ezung and Secretary, Kavito Ayemi informed that the meeting would discuss the upcoming golden jubilee celebrations of the Notun Bosti Council to be held on the month of December, 2019. It asked all colony residents to attend the meeting without fail.

APO mourns demise of Z Katiry

Kohima, October 27 (MExN): The Angami Public Organisation (APO) has expressed sadness at the demise of Z Katiry who passed away on October 25. A condolence message from APO’s President, Dr Kepeihusie Terhilja and Secretary, Information and Publicity Neithono Sothu stated Katiry was a tall figure amongst the Pochury tribe in particular and the Nagas in general. He was the first President of the Pochury Public Forum (PPF) apart from serving in various other organizations. APO expressed sorrow at the “loss of an amiable person who was a devout Christian, a pioneer, a trail blazer and an advisor to the Naga people.” It conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for God's comfort, solace and the departed soul to rest in peace.
