Patton extends Tokhu Emong greetings

Wokha, November 6 (MExN): Nagaland Dy CM and BLP leader, Y Patton extended Tokhu Emong greetings to all the Lotha community living in different parts of the world. While extending his warmest Tokhu Emong greetings, he called upon the Lotha brethrens to acknowledge God for His plentiful love and abundant blessings. Dy CM in a press note issued by its Media Cell stated that he appealed to the Lotha community to celebrate this premier festival with a spirit of forgiving and forgetting each other's misdeeds to make the celebration complete and meaningful. He called for upholding the true spirit of Tokhu Emong, which is reconciliation, feasting and merry making. He encouraged the youngsters to keep the Lotha culture and traditions alive as it signifies our roots and identity. 

 

KVYO Winter Bazaar 2019

Kohima, November 6 (MExN): Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) will be organizing KVYO Winter Bazaar 2019 from December 2 to 23 at Kohima Local ground (Khuochiezie). Convenor Thepfusavi Suohu in a press release stated the bazaar will include first-hand and second-hand garments, fruits, vegetables, funfair, trade-expo and many more. Registration forms will be issued on November 11 and 12 and its submission will be from November 20 to 22. Interested persons may collect the form from KVYO office, Probogei, United Traders Building Main Town, Kohima. Use of single use plastic will be banned during the winter bazaar 2019, it added.

 

UD department notifies 

Kohima, November 6 (MExN): The Urban Development department has requested the DEOs, SDEOs, Principals and Headmasters to tie up with the PHE or RD Departments and the Urban Local Bodies for transportation of the collected plastic waste in the school and college premises to the District MRFs on or before November 10.

 

Industrial Village Razhüphe meeting 

Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): The Industrial Village Razhüphe Village Council has called for a general meeting of the villagers on November 8, 10 am at the residence of its Head GB TL Angami. The council has requested all the villagers, GBs, Mothers Unit and VCMs to attend the meeting without failure.

 

ENPU Wokha Unit general meeting

Wokha, November 6 (MExN): All the members of Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union (ENPU) Wokha are informed that the 32nd general meeting will be held on November 9, 10:00 am at Likhaba Sangtam, Treasurer’s residence, Tsumang B Colony Wokha Town. Therefore, all the members are requested to attend the meeting along with membership without fail.

 

AG office informs on SMS facilities  

KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): The office of the Accountant General (A&E) has informed that the SMS facility for pensioners has been introduced. As per the system, every pensioner will be alerted or intimated through SMS regarding different stages of processing and finalisation of their pension cases, a press release from the AG Office (A&E) said. In this connection, pensioners or retiring employees who are processing their pension papers are requested to furnish their mobile numbers in their processing papers to avail the facility.
