NCD advent Christmas

Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has convened an advent Christmas programme on December 11, 4:00 pm at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. NCD in a press release has requested all the Naga Councilors to make it convenient to attend the programme.

 

NSCN (R) mourns demise of member

Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): The NSCN (R) has expressed sorrow at the demise of Captain (Retd) Hutoshe Yeptho (Kilonser) son of Late Vikishe of Kuhuboto town. Hutoshe was a senior member who joined the national movement in 1996 and served in the Naga Army. He joined the Civil Wing in 2010 who served till his last breath as Deputy Kilonser. In a condolence message issued by MIP, in due recognition of his selfless service, Captain Yeptho was posthumously elevated to Kilonser. “The late Kilonser leaves behind his legacy as a father, a gentleman and an officer to his children, progeny and his comrades.” The NSCN (R) prayed that the departed soul rest in peace and that the Lord provide solace to his family members and friends during their time of grief.

 

NSCN (IM) condoles

Hebron, December 8 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) is grieved by the untimely demise of Major Wanggem Wangsa of the Northern Command, Naga Army from Hongphoi village under Konyak Region on December 7, after a prolonged illness. He enrolled in the Naga national service on March 11, 1993 and served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until his demise, said a condolence message issued by MIP, NSCN (IM). “For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished by all.” The office of the Longvibu, Naga Army has posthumously bestowed upon him the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on December 7, in recognition of his service to the Naga nation.  At this hour of sorrow, the NSCN (IM) conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant his soul eternal peace and rest.

 

ACID organizes exposure trip

Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) with the support of the National Domestic Workers Movement organized an exposure visit to District jail, women cell, Shelter Home (Prodigals Home) and Mother Teresa Home on December 5. The visit provided firsthand experience to know their roles and functions for the safety and security of all. The children of CRM and ACID staff acknowledged all the departments. 34 children participated in the exposure programme.
