ANTPEUU informs on registration
Kohima, December 10 (MExN): The All Nagaland Trained Physical Education Unemployed Union (ANTPEUU) has informed that the members concerned must be registered with the union. ANTPEUU in a press release said that it is the Union’s objective to fight for the cause of the Naga welfare. Therefore, it requested every concerned member to re-check their name in the list and register by December 18. After registration, one will be added to the whatsapp group of the Union, it added. CEAN reminds against submission of NPWD forms
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 10 (MExN): The Civil Engineers Association of Nagaland (CEAN) reiterated its demand for withdrawal of the Nagaland PWD’s SO Gr-II forms advertised on November 23. A press release from the CEAN media cell reminded all its members and non members to withdraw the NPWD 9 SO Gr-II forms. It further asked the concerned who have collected the forms not to submit till further notice. Meanwhile, it cautioned candidates who have submitted their form that they would be “solely responsible” in case of any untoward incident in the process of seeking justice. “All the candidates deserve a chance to apply for open competitive exams for all the 30 SO G-II, 7 Draftsmen and 7 Surveyor posts; rather than just a merely 9 S.O G-II posts to cover up and deny the rights of the demand made by CEAN,” it added.
Dimapur Police appeals to obey traffic rules
Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): Dimapur Police today appealed to the general public, in view of the festive season to adhere to traffic rules and regulations. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur, in a press release also acknowledged the Darogapathar Youth Organization (DYO) Dimapur for extending their voluntary assistance in the management of vehicle traffic on NH 29 with effect from December 2 – 9.
Training and distribution of ePOS device on Dec 13
Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): All the urban and rural fair price shops dealers under Niuland PDC Dimapur that a training and distribution of ePOS device is scheduled on December 13 at Directorate of Food & Civil Supplies Dimapur. The first session will be held for Nihokhu Block and Kuhuboto/Khaghaboto block from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and the second session will be held for Nuiland Block and Aghunaqha block from 12:00 noon onwards. S Kavito Aomi, Assistant Director, Food & Civil Supplies, Dimapur in a press release has informed all the FPS dealers under Nuiland PDC to attend the training and distribution of ePOS device compulsorily along with the nominee of FPS. It is also to be noted that photocopy of Aadhaar card in required for the nominee.
KMC new office building
Kohima, December 10 (MExN): The new office building of Kohima Smart City Development Limited and Kohima Municipal Council will be inaugurated on December 13, 11:30 am at Super Market Complex, Kohima. Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, advisor urban development and municipal affairs will grace the occasion as the special guest.
NAAC assesses Zisaji Presidency College
Kiphire, December 10 (MExN): The Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC), Kiphire is being assessed by NAAC with a team comprising of Dr Madan Mohan Goel Chairman, Dr Sanjat Sahu, Member Co-ordinator and Dr. Allwyn Mendooz Member. The Principal of Zisaji College in a programme held on December 10 highlighted on the infrastructure of the College. The Principal highlighted on Zisaji freeship O2 where students from each semester are supported with 50% admission free relaxation. She also said that the students scoring more than 65% of mark and from very poor financial background are supported with freeship.
