JCPI calls meeting on December 18 

Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The JCPI has called for a meeting on December 18 at Hotel Tourist Lodge at 11:00 am. All the tribe hoho and CSO leaders are appealed to attend the meeting without fail. JCPI Convenor, K. Ghokheto Chophy and Secretary, Tia Longchar in a press release said that the agenda for the meeting pertains to CAA, ILP notification over Dimapur and RIIN. “Despite the festive season and busy schedules, it is important for all the stakeholders to attend the meeting so that an informed decision in the interest of all Nagas is taken,” it added.  

‘Shamnyu’ changed to ‘Wangshu’ village

Mon, December 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS in a circular has informed that, as per the notification from Home Department Kohima, the name of under Tobu Sub-division in Mon District. Hence forth, the name ‘Wangshu’ should be used for all Official Communications, DC added.
