Shops to open in Kohima on December 22 

Kohima, December 21 (MExN): In view of the Festive Season and on the request of Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) request, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has permitted to open KCCI business establishments to open shops on December 22 after 12:00 noon. However, the KMC in a notice informed that “no shops should open before 12:00 noon.”

Zhavame Day on January 6 to 7

Kohima, December 21 (MExN): Zhavame Day will take place on January 6 to 7, 2020 at Public Amphitheatre, Pame Tsiidu, Zhavame village under Phek district. Nagaland’s planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu will grace the occasion as the special guest. Zhavame day greetings will be shared by ex-minister Deo Nukhu. The occasion will be marked by pounding of socked rice, traditional sound making, bamboo climbing, folk dance etc. etc.
