NIIT Dimapur informs

Dimapur, December 30 (MExN): The NIIT Dimapur had informed that classes will remain suspended from December 31 to January 2, owing to New Year celebrations. The center will reopen on Friday i.e. January 3. Meanwhile, the NIIT Dimapur Team Royal Tigers also wishes all a very happy and prosperous 2020 to every citizen of Nagaland, including all the NIITians and alumni.

 

St Xavier Catholic Church observes Holy Family

Kidima, December 30 (MExN): St Xavier Catholic Church, Kidima observed Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph with Reverend Father Vemedo Joseph Kezo from St Joseph College, Jakhama (Autonomous) as main celebrant on December 29 at the church premises.


A press release stated here that Father Vemedo Joseph Kezo in the homily said “without the blessing of God, the people cannot live a good life. Family, society and village were made by God and it was not by human choice.” The priest further cautioned the young people “against broken relationship with parents stating that it can lead to blight in life.” 


Other highlights of the event were hosting of Eucharist- the feast of body and blood of Jesus celebration; visitation and prayer for sick people; special prayer offered to new couple. Special number was presented by students of St Joseph College. Parents, children along with Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA) took part the sacred feast of the liturgy.
