Wholesale price of food grains available on Dimapur dist website

Dimapur, February 5 (MExN): The average wholesale prices of essential commodities (food grains) have been uploaded in the Dimapur District website: dimapur.nic.in under information section. The updated prices will be uploaded from time to time for the benefit of general public, informed a DIPR report. 

 

TaFMA to organize art exhibition in Delhi

Kohima, February 5 (MExN): Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland will be organizing a three-day Art Exhibition cum Sale in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from April 24 to 26 with the theme "Nagaland." TaFMA Project Director Dr Hovithal Sothu has invited artists of Nagaland who would like to be part of the exhibition to submit photographs of their work specifying the actual size of the art work to TaFMA office for selection on or before February 22. The art work can be in the form of medium-oil paint, acrylic paint or water colour. Submission may be done personally or via email- tafma2019@gmail.com

 

Kidima gets Science Lab 

Kohima, February 5 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Kohima installed a basic Lab at Government Middle School, Kidima on January 31. As per DIPR report, the Lab was an initiative led by Vineikho Tetso, EAC, Kezocha Convenor of Kohima DPDB Village Adoption Committee. The Science Lab was donated by Kohima Science College and inaugurated by Principal Dr Lily. Career guidance and counseling were also conducted by resource persons from Kohima Science College including, Dr Seyiekhrielie Whiso, Department of English; Dr Limatemjen Ao and Kenneth Pienyu, Department of Chemistry. The programme was hosted by Kidima Students’ Union.

 

New team of SPO declared 

Phek, February 5 (MExN): The Secheku Public Organization (SPO) held its meeting on January 28 at Chizami Village Community Hall, Phek. Representatives from 12 villages and 3 Adhoc towns attended the meeting. The new team of SPO for the tenure 2020-2022 was declared by the Convener Search Committee and the same was approved by the house, which will be led by Vekhosa Rüho as President, Kekhwelhilo Tara as Vice President, Tho-o Shupao as General Secretary, Shekhoto Resüh as Joint Secretary, Kotsope Rhakho as Treasurer. The meeting was chaired by Nehüsa Cükhamu, President Centre Chakhesang Public Organization and invocation was pronounced by Ngonyi Lea, VCC Tsüpfüme Village.
