Visitors barred from Police HQs
Kohima, March 20 (MExN): In pursuance to Nagaland Home Department order in order to prevent and contain the spread of Covid-19 and as a precautionary measure, the entry of the visitors in Police Headquarters (PHQ) Office except the officials and staffs is barred with immediate effect till further orders. This was stated in a press release issued by Manoj Kumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Crime) & PRO, Nagaland, Kohima.
Weekly bazaars under Sanis sub-div suspended
Sanis, March 20 (MExN): ADC Sanis, Zibenthung Kithan has informed that all weekly bazaars under Sanis sub-division shall remain suspended until further notice effective immediately, as mass gatherings are most vulnerable to the unabated spread of the disease. The public is therefore requested to cooperate and bear with the inconvenience for the time being.
Sanitize ATM booths and bank counters: DC Kohima
Kohima, March 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has directed all banks located under Kohima District to sanitize ATM booths and bank counters with medical recommended sanitizers on a regular basis to prevent and control the outbreak . Hand sanitizers should also be kept for customers at the ATM booths. This Directive comes into force with immediate effect till further orders, the DC Kohima added.
Restrictions imposed in Wokha
Wokha, March 20 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha informed that public entry to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha will be restricted with immediate effect from March 20. Issue of fresh ILP, Aadhaar, ST/IIC/PRC and Character Certificates will remain suspended with immediate effect until further orders. Only exceptional cases which require immediate attention will be entertained on request. Public are therefore requested to extend their co-operation and practice social distancing from each other to prevent the spread of Corona Virus. This order is issued for information and strict compliance.
DUDA enforces COVID-19 precautions
Kohima, March 20 (MExN): In order to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure, Director, DUDA, KS Anden Konyak, NCS has informed that the following necessary measures has been strictly enforced in the Directorate of Under Developed Areas (DUDA) office building with effect from March 21 till further order:
• No public interview or visitation except for genuine unavoidable official works
• Visitors will not be allowed entry without wearing mask
• All officers and staff in this office are to compulsorily wear masks during the office hour
• Unnecessary gathering inside the rooms is prohibited
• Y T Manlcm, Assistant Director and Malang, Superintendent are entrusted to prepare a routine on rotation basis of drivers for manning the main gate to ensure strict compliance of this order.
