Vegetables market at KNSK building inaugurated
Mon, July 18 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS inaugurated local vegetables market at Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) building in Walo ward Mon on July 18. The DC in his speech said that it was an auspicious day for the Walo ward as well as community as a whole of Mon Town. Short speeches were delivered by Imnalensa, SP, Mon, Lomei President KNSK, Tongang Konyak, Walo ward President. The programme was chaired by Chumlamo, Humtsoe SDO (Civil) Sadar & Administration i/c MTC. The inaugural programme was observed with strict compliance to the safety measures as per government guidelines.
DCC Wokha informs
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): All the president and secretaries of DCC, DYCC, DMCC, Seva Dal, ACC unit of 37th, 38th, 39th and 40th AC/C, Wokha are informed that a meeting will be held on July 23 at the residence of ET Ezung, Working President, NPCC. The meeting has been called to reconstitute the District Congress Committee.

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The Sümi Baptist Convention (SBC) executive council meeting will be held on July 21 at Trinity Theological College campus, Thahekhü Dimapur at 9:00 am. All the Council members are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
Dimapur DTF meeting
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed that there will be a meeting of District Task Force (DTF) at DC's conference hall to discuss matters relating to COVID-19 pandemic in Dimapur District on July 20 at 11:30 am. Therefore, all the concerned members have been informed to attend the meeting without fail.
IVR imposes total ban on pig trade
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The Industrial Village Razhüphe (IVR), Dimapur Village Council has imposed total ban butchering and selling of both local and non-local pigs within the village jurisdiction prohibited from the date of publication till further notice. The council in a press release stated that the prohibition has been imposed due to the report of Swine Flu epidemic in the neighboring states. “Anyone violating the order will be penalized by the Village Council as per the council’s resolution,” it added.
