2 arrested with counterfeit Burmese goods in Pherima
Dimapur, November 11 (MExN): Two individuals were reportedly arrested with counterfeit Burmese goods by security Forces in a joint operation with Police at general area Pherima, Dimapur on November 9. A press release from the HQ IGAR (N) informed that, based on a specific input, Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended two individuals and recovered Burmese goods worth approximately Rs 29,84,000 at general area Pherima, Dimapur. The apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to Custom Department Dimapur, for further investigation, the release added.
Arunachal: One NSCN (IM) cadre apprehended
Dimapur, November 11 (MExN): Based on a specific input, Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended a cadre of NSCN (IM) at general area Pullung, Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh on November 8. Informing this in a press release, the HQ IGAR (N) said that the apprehended individual has been handed over to Borduria Police Station, Tirap District for further investigation.
IMFL seized in Mokokchung
Mokokchung, November 11 (MExN): Security Forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended two individuals with illegal IMFL at general area Dessoi, Mokokchung district on November 10. In a press release issued by the HQ IGAR (N), it was informed that, based on a specific input, Security Forces and the state police apprehended two individuals and recovered 220 cases of illegal IMFL worth approximately Rs 8 lakh at Dessoi, Mokokchung. The apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to Longtho Police Station, Mokokchung District for further investigation, the release added.
Mon: One NSCN (K-YA) cadre arrested
Mon, November 11 (MExN): Security Forces in a joint operation with Police apprehended a cadre of NSCN (K-YA) at general area Tizit, Mon on November 8. “Based on a specific input, Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended a cadre of NSCN-K (YA) involved in multiple extortion activities, at general area Tizit, Mon District, Nagaland,” the HQ IGAR (N) inofrmed in a press release on Thursday. The apprehended individual has been handed over to Mon Police Station, Mon District for further investigation, it added.
