DUCCF to hold general meeting on October 2
Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen’s Federation (DUCCF) will hold its general meeting on October 2 at Lengrijan Council Hall from 10:00 am. A press release from the DUCCF Media Cell informed all urban council chairmen to attend the meeting along with two council members each. It stated that “important agendas will be discussed” during the meeting and called for the cooperation and participation of all concerned.
KMC notifies on import permits
Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) stated that several transport vehicles have been entering Kohima municipal jurisdiction and supplying goods without obtaining proper import permits that bypasses regulatory checks and trade Monitoring. In this connection, the KMC asked all the concerned transport vehicles not to enter KMC jurisdiction or supply goods within KMC jurisdiction without valid KMC import permit. “Failing to comply with this circular may entails strict denial of entry and appropriate actions as per the provisions of the law and municipal regulations,” notified KMC Chief Executive Officer Alemyapang Longchar.
No scooty taxi services in Kohima on October 2
Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association, Kohima Headquarters, has informed that scooty taxi services will remain suspended on October 2 in view of its 7th Foundation Day-cum-Picnic. The Association has further informed that any rider found operating scooty taxi services on the said date will be liable to penalty as per the Association's decision. The Association has requested all riders and the public to take note of the suspension and cooperate accordingly.
