Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) assisted the Civil Administration by providing clean potable water to a quarantine facility at Government Higher Secondary School, Peren on July 24. The Battalion also distributed hand sanitizers and masks to children residing in Christian Servanthood Orphanage Home, Peren. Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a medical camps in Penkim and surrounding villages of Kiphire district on July 28. A medical team provided free health check-up, medical consultancy and medicines to 47 male, 44 female and 15 children who attended respective camps in Penkim, Fakim and Vongtsuwong villages.
