Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted lecture on ‘Wild Life Protection’ in Tening on December 18. The aim of the lecture was to educate students in execution of conservation initiatives in priority areas identified through the biodiversity surveys. Lecture focused on awareness building, conservation education, formation of eco-camps and creation of community conservation areas. 60 students and two teachers attended the lecture.
