DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 14 (MExN): The Chessore Area Public Forum (CAPF) has demanded expeditious intervention from the state government to immediately position Math and Science teachers at Government High School, Chessore.
A press release issued by CAPF informed that the Chessore GHS, which is considered as the educational hub of the surrounding villages, has been without Math and Science teachers for the last three years.
Concerned over the absence of the teachers which has been seriously hampering the career of the students, the CAPF and Yimchungru Akheru Arih-Ako, a student body, had been appraising the concerned authority through representation and media for intervention since the year 2016. However, there have been no response from the government side so far, the press release lamented.
While condemning the lackadaisical attitude of the government on the issue, the CAPF has cautioned that it would be compelled to take own course of action if the state government intervene fail to address the issue.
