Minister Metsubo Jamir inaugurates the newly constructed Nagaland Rural Development Service Association transit building at the Directorate complex on October 21.

Kohima, October 21 (MExN): A review meeting on rural development programmes with all the Project Directors of DRDAs and BDOs was held under the chairmanship of Director RD, Liboni Humtsoe at RD conference hall, Kohima on October 21.
In his address, Minister Metsubo Jamir directed the Project Directors and the BDOs to keep pace with the scheme guidelines and directions issued by the Ministries to equip oneself with the emerging challenges. He asked the officers to give importance to attend such meetings whenever called upon for a thorough discussion on challenges and threats faced by the officers while implementing the schemes and to place appropriate corrective measures wherever required.
Metsubo stressed on the need of the BDOs to visit their respective fields regularly for effective planning and implementation thereby helping the villages to grow while maintaining that the BDOs submit the timely visit reports to the Directorate every month. “Being sincere and to be in their respective place of posting” was also instructed to all the officers so as to perform their duties satisfactorily and on time.
A press note received here stated that the Project Directors of DRDA Dimapur, Mokokchung, Phek, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Kohima and the Mission Director NSRLM each presented an overview of the status of work implementation on the various programmes of their respective districts.
On the same day, the Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed Nagaland Rural Development Service Association (NRDSA) transit building at the Directorate complex which was constructed and completed to commemorate the NRDSA Silver Jubilee.
