Nagaland Tourism bags OTM’s ‘most promising new destination’ award

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): Nagaland was adjudged the winner of the ‘most promising new destination’ at the Overseas Travel Mart (OTM) 2020 held from February 3 to 5 in Mumbai.

 


This was informed by Nagaland Tourism on its official Facebook page on Thursday. Meanwhile, sharing the news on micro blogging site Twitter, the Chief Minister of Nagaland lauded all officers and staff of Department of Tourism, Nagaland for the award. 

 


According to its website, OTM is the gateway to India's travel markets as well as the largest and most international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India.

 


India's longest-running travel tradeshow OTM was expected to also host 1050+ exhibitors from 55+ countries, of which 23 are National Tourism Organisations (NTOs), according to a publicity release by the organiser.
