Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): The Transport Department, Government of Nagaland has notified the ceiling limit for issue of two wheeler taxi permit in each district. It is in continuation of an earlier notification dated August 8, 2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 95 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, a press release from the department informed.
As per the new notifcation, both the driver and the pillion rider have to wear a uniform colour code of yellow helmet. All other conditions will remain the same. The number of permits for each district are as under:
