Nagas were never Indians

We Nagas were never Indians and never will be. However, in spite of all the political conflict, bloodshed and loss of property all these years, we must not forget the good that India has done for us.

India, as the largest democracy of the world, has the provision and the power to solve the current Indo-Naga political imbroglio.
All these years India has played the part of a foster parent to the young Naga Nation. God only knows for what reason, but the young Naga nation was torn into 5 different administrative areas.

Parts were given to Myanmar, parts to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur, and the rest retained in what we now call Nagaland state. And this is a fact known to the world. This Naga nation has now come of age and longs to be united once more as before, as the book of Psalms 133 says – “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” India must now gladly do her best to see that nothing comes in the way of this legitimate process of Integration of the Nagas, lest it become imperative for some other superior nation who knows the truth to step in.
