Kohima, January 9 (MExN): Narcotic Cell PS personnel detected and seized 40 packets of suspected heroin from a vehicle while manning the Check Point at Khuzama, Kohima on January 8, an official release informed today.
The heroin weighed approximately 480 grams was recovered from the vehicle bearing registration no. AS01DE/5444 (Tata Sumo), stated the release issused by Superintendent of Police (Crime) & PRO, PHQ, Nagaland, Manoj Kumar, IPS.
Accordingly, the driver of the vehicle, Süle (29 years), of Kodom Khullen village, Senapati, Manipur was arrested and registered under NDPS Act for further investigation, it added.
