NCRC Women’s Association inaugural convention concludes

NCRC Women’s Association concluded its inaugural three-day convention, held from November 14 to 16 at NCRC Sumi Dimapur Town in Burma Camp.

Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): The NCRC Women’s Association (NCRCWA) concluded its inaugural three-day convention, an event marked by spiritual teachings, prayer, and choral music.

The convention, held from November 14 to 16 at the NCRC Sumi Dimapur Town in Burma Camp, saw its five services led by prominent women leaders from across the state, according to a press release.

In his keynote address, Rev Dr Neikeduozo Paphino, President of NCRC, spoke on “Clothed with Strength and Dignity”. He recounted the initial challenges in establishing the NCRCWA, stating it was “by the grace of God” that the association was now holding its first convention.

A series of messages on biblical womanhood and influence were delivered by other speakers. Rev Dr Imchayanger from Ao NCRC Dimapur spoke on “Birthing Revival through Travailing Prayer”, while Advisor Nini Sekhose addressed the theme “Women of Influence – Called for Such a Time as This”.

Dr Sentilemla, Principal of Nagaland Bible College, highlighted the role of women in God’s mission in her session “Equipped & Empowered”. Dr Nighatoli P Achumi, a Pastoral Counselor, spoke on “Embracing God-Given Identity,” encouraging women to affirm their self-worth.

The convention featured special choral presentations from five CRC Women Tribal Associations, including the Angami ACRTK and the Ao Tetsur Mungdang. Additional musical blessings were provided by the Lotha, Sangtam, and Pochury women's associations.

The event was preceded by intensive prayer sessions led by a 22-member Advance Prayer Group under Hokali Swu.

Kaholi Piketo Achumi, President of NCRCWA, gave the welcome address and introduced the office bearers. Tribal Women Association Presidents and various Tribal Council Representatives were also felicitated during the event.

The convention concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Anungla Aier, Vice President of NCRCWA.
