Kohima | June 21 : The Nagaland Civil Services Association (NCSA) and Nagaland Secretariat Services Association (NSSA) today called off its first phase of agitation after getting assurance from the government. Source said that members of the Association met the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today and called off the agitation after getting positive response from the latter. Source said the agitation was in protest against the state government’s failure to uphold its assurance not to absorb the officers on deputation from outside the state serving in the state on deputation.
