NCSU ultimatum to RMSA over GHS construction

DIMAPUR, JUNE 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) issued an ultimatum today to the State Mission Director (RMSA) Nagaland Education Mission Society Kohima. The ultimatum complained that as per “reliable source” ‘SINTEX INDUSTRIES LTD.’ had submitted tender for construction of GHS in various locations in the state under RMSA programme and that the state Government was actively considering their tender even before the tender is officially open. “This clearly shows that the said tender is more or less a table tender and an act of nepotism and favoritism at the cost of the local contractors”, stated the ultimatum signed by NCSU President Pele Khezhie and Secretary Imsunok Jamir.  The NCSU stated that it was “totally against such participation of non-NCSU members in the tender for construction of GHS in various locations in the state under RMSA programme” and that in the event of the work order been awarded to the above mentioned firm, the NCSU will not remain a mute spectator but resort to any degree of agitations which is deem fit. The NCSU has therefore, earnestly requested the RMSA to reject/delete the said firm from further competition with the local contractors.
