•-Nagaland state was created as the 16th states of India on December 1, 1961. After Nagaland, 12 more sates were created. Those states are younger brothers of Nagaland state. Although 47 years have elapsed, people have no peace of mind and state is less developed. People have no chance to work for daily wages to sustain their livelihood.
Corruption exists everywhere. Like the adage goes ‘Public money is like holy water, everyone helps himself”. Therefore, corruption leads to poverty. People can spend crores of money but for development purpose, it is very hard, like easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Rampant corruption of money is only for personal gain. Everybody can see commuters especially patients facing hardship while on their way to district hospital, Wokha due to deplorable road condition. Whom to blame? The government or ghost? Corruption leads to poverty in society. Therefore, such kind of crime should be eradicated in society.
The people of Nagaland should urge the centre for CBI enquiry in the state in the interest of the public. The CBI should conduct verification into different departments in order to eradicate corruption and a lasting peace and prosperous future in society.
