NEEPCO Naga Employees contributes towards CM Relief Fund

Dimapur, May 8 (MExN): The NEEPCO Naga Employees contributed Rs 3,35,000 towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund for COVID-19.

 

“The contribution was acknowledged by Andrew C Imti, NCS, Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister issued through an acknowledgement letter,” Head of Plant, DHEP, NEEPCO Ltd, Doyang, Nagaland stated in a press release.

 

NEEPCO Limited, a central public sector enterprise having a Power generating unit, the Doyang Hydro Electric Plant situated at Doyang in the state of Nagaland has ramp up the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The DHEP management has been extending all possible helps and cooperation to the local communities living in proximity to the Plant by providing relief, in the form of essential food items, medical assistance and distributing PPEs.

 

The DHEP Medical wing also facilitated ten quarantine bed and one day care isolation bed for quarantine purpose for the employees as well as for the nearby local villagers.

 

Amidst the lockdown, Doyang Hydro Electric Plant is fully operational and in spite of all the constraints the plant is generating uninterrupted electric power to make the life of the people comfortable.
