New Film Exposes Monumental Medical Fraud

Burzynski and supporters during a trial in 1997 trial. After threats, lawsuits and raids on his premises he is finally being (albeit slowly) accepted into the mainstream, with the FDA closely monitoring his work in Stage III clinical trials.

Burzynski: The Movie, is the recently released and stranger-than-fiction documentary about a pioneering medical doctor and PhD biochemist and his fight to save lives from killer cancers of all kinds. What makes this tale so bizarre is that his real battle has not been with cancer.
Stanislaw Burzynski, MD, PhD, has had unprecedented success in the medical fight against cancer. He is the discoverer of substances found naturally in the bodies of healthy persons that he calls Antineoplastons.  He has patented these simple protein compounds and proven their use as a successful cancer treatment that, unlike chemotherapy and radiation, is completely free from deadly side effects.  These Antineoplastons have cured some of the most incurable forms of terminal cancer, including cancers that have been 100% fatal with existing medical treatment. And they have done it without any assistance from the harsh and often deadly chemotherapy and radiation treatments that are key income-producers in a multi-trillion dollar industry world-wide.
The film documents how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), with the cooperation of his home state’s medical board, and the National Cancer Institute, with its 5.2 billion dollar annual budget, worked hard for more than 14 years to destroy the medical practice of this successful cancer-curing doctor. They thought it best to use their vast financial and political power to try to put this modern-day medical saviour behind bars for life. At the same time, government prosecutors frankly acknowledged that Burzynski had done absolutely no harm, but rather had saved many lives.
Dr. Burzynski resides and practices medicine in Houston, Texas.  He was initially able to legally produce and administer his discovery without federal FDA-approval from 1977-1995 as long as he did not ship his medicines across state lines.  But as news of his cancer cure began to spread, and cancer sufferers began to travel from all over the country to Burzynski’s clinic in Texas, the interest of government regulatory agencies was aroused.  Numerous and repeated investigations began to be launched by the Texas Medical Board. They relentlessly took Dr. Burzynski as high as the state supreme court after multiple failed attempts to halt his practice.
Over the course of the next ten years, the Food and Drug Administration, a Federal government agency charged with protecting the health of American citizens, attempted to indict Dr. Burzynski  in four Federal Grand Juries, all of which ended in the juries  finding no fault with his practices. Burzynski finally was indicted in a 5th Grand Jury in 1995. Two subsequent federal trials and two sets of jurors found him not guilty of any wrongdoing.  If convicted, Dr. Burzynski would have faced a maximum of 290 years in a federal prison and $18.5 million in fines.
Facts that surfaced a few years after Dr. Burzynski gained his legal victory reveal the depths of fraud and intrigue to which powerful governments and wealthy pharmaceutical corporations will descend to maintain their wealth and power.  At the very time the U.S. government was spending millions of dollars to indict and imprison Dr. Burzynski for life, they were colluding with a research scientist, who had been formerly employed by Dr. Burzynski, to file several U.S. patents on the same chemical compounds that Dr. Burzynski already had patents on.  Viewers of Burzynski: The Movie, will sit in shock as fraudulent patent after fraudulent patent on the use of Antineoplastons for cancer treatment is displayed on the screen, all fully granted by the U.S. Patent Office. One of these fraudulent patents, filed by the U.S. government, frankly acknowledges that chemotherapy and radiation treatments for cancer do not work.
Antineoplastons completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials at Dr. Burzynski’s Texas facility in 2009 and will soon begin the final phase of testing. But the path to final FDA approval is still strewn with obstacles.  Besides an ongoing disinformation campaign against the doctor and his cancer cure, the final phase of clinical testing required before final FDA approval can be given will cost $300 million dollars.  It may still be a long time before this cancer cure is fully acknowledged and becomes widely available in the U.S. and around the world.
