New team of BJP Mokokchung declared

Newly elected BJP Mokokchung President Imolemba Jamir along with the newly appointed BJP office bearers at the formal declaration of new district team programme on December 9.

Mokokchung, December 10 (MExN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mokokchung District will be led by a new team of office bearers. A formal programme to introduce the newly elected BJP Mokokchung district president Imolemba Jamir and the district office bearers was held at the BJP, Mokokchung District office on December 9 which was attended by representatives from all the frontals and mandals under the district. 

Media & IT Cell, BJP Mokokchung District in a press release said the new team will be led by Imolemba Jamir as the president and three vice presidents – Nukshi I Ozukum, T Nukshi Jamir and Watitemsu. The team will also have two general secretaries – S Moa Imsong and Lanuyanger M Longkumer. Four secretaries – Alepla Chang, T Anungla, Lanuyanger Longkumer and I Lanutoshi Longkumer has been appointed to the top posts in the district BJP office.

The newly elected President, while handing over the appointment letters to subordinates assured to give his best to take the BJP, its aims and polices to a higher level, so that the Naga people can also march at par with the rest of the nation. 

Jamir also gave special emphasis to the minority communities in the district and said that its unit will listen to them so that they can also contribute to the progress of the society. 

He further assured the ruling PDA Government of working hand in hand and render support for all round development of the state. Earlier in the programme, the president of the BJP, 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal, Tiakumzuk Tzudir appreciated the outgoing district president, RN Nungsang for his sacrifices in moulding the party from the grass root. Vice president T Nukshi Jamir and Rongsenyanger also delivered short speeches. The programme was conducted by the president Jakjemmenla.
