National Interactive Tour for students of Kohima and Phek districts was flagged off by Brig Satbir Singh SM, Deputy Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) from HQ IGAR (North) on January 19. The tour is being conducted by Chieswema Battalion as part of the Assam Rifles initiative to encourage learning and generate awareness among youth. The 12 days itinerary comprise of visits to Delhi, Dehradun and Mussoorie including Sansad Bhawan, War Memorial, Nehru Planetarium, Indian Military Academy, IAS Academy as well as interaction with Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand.
