NGBF urges Nagaland Gov to make Naga political issue top priority

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 16 (MExN): The Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has urged the Nagaland Governor, RN Ravi to settle the Naga political issue on a top priority basis so that “many prevailing problems shall be solved by it.”
This was communicated to the Governor during a courtesy call made by the NGBF in Dimapur on January 16. During the meeting, the NGBF also reiterated its stand to support for a peaceful settlement of the Naga political issue.
A press release from the NGBF media secretary, Akhu Naga informed that the Governor “shared his deep concern and care for the common people of Nagaland in the areas of good governance of road, health, education etc.”
The Governor reportedly appreciated the “neutrality and efforts of NGBF and the Initiative of the Churches in Nagaland to tirelessly work for the Naga people and their political future.”
The NGBF also invited the Governor to attend the 4th edition of the ‘Kingdom Leaders Prayer Breakfast’ scheduled to be held on February 8 at Hotel Vivor, Kohima.
Earlier, there was a short prayer of blessing by Apostle Rev. Luoliehu Yimsung, Founder of Leaders' Arise Nagaland (LAN) & Initiator, Overseas Naga Association.
