NLSF writes to CS for smooth conduct of exams

Kohima, September 29 (MExN): With the LLB examinations for odd semester students approaching, the Nagaland Law Students Federation (NLSF) has appealed the Chief Secretary to put in place necessary steps or ordinances so that students can sit for their exams without any hassles.

The examinations for 1st, 3rd and 5th semester Bachelor of Laws students have been scheduled for October 5.

The federation expressed concern that outstation students of the three law colleges in the state—Kohima Law College, Mokokchung Law College and City Law College, Dimapur, would have to face numerous difficulties such as travel restrictions, closure of hostels and other accommodation challenges. It also pointed out the possibility that students may also be quarantined, thus hindering the conduct of examinations.

As such, the NLSF sought the Chief Secretary’s intervention in ensuring that mechanisms are put in place by the respective district administrations so that exams are not hampered or delayed.
