I must clarify my position to the Naga people and not to Kiumukam Yimchungru . I am elected by the NNC Central Executive Council on 29th March 2011 with NNC Election Procedures and Rules by the House out of political necessity in the Home Front. These has been clarified by different Regional Councils and C.E.C Members recently. Let the people judged this Election issue clearly in the Press Media publication.
Yes, I must say again that Kiumukam Yimchungru do not know Naga National Politics because he brought Eastern and Western Naga Politics in the NNC set up. We have written record , he brought division because of power craziness. Kiumukam must clarify to the NNC in particular and the general public whether he collected money from certain National Political Group and distributed among themselves or not? Whether he collected money from general public in Dimapur area in the NNC official name of K. Yimchungru and signature? Clarify to the NNC and the general public.
Kiumukam Yimchungru had threatened Lotha Regional Council Officials who came to attend 29th March NNC Meeting, he threatened Angami Regional Council Vice President and today he openly threatened me (Gen. Retd I. Panger Walling) and Mr. V. Nagi the General Secretary of NNC publicly stated that Quote “if unwanted situation arises you will be responsible.”unquote Kiumukam Yimchungru will be held responsible if anything happen to any one of us.
Yes, Mr. V. Nagi the General Secretary is working tirelessly for NNC since he joined as a Youth Worker of NNC in 1978 from Angami Youth Wing NNC, the Naga People and in particular for Naga National Unity. He is well known not only here but abroad too.
The NNC is very much going forward as a Non- Violent Naga Political Institution. Why do Kiumukam question us, you did not do your part as a Vice President even in the earlier five years term of Office, you came to attend NNC Meeting only for four or five times from Tuensang and never do your part as an official. Therefore, there is no progress from your side. We have all official records in this regard.
As a non-violent Institution, NNC do not have any property. Who is working for the people will use what he has. Indeed, we have to be grateful to Mr. V. Nagi prior to October 2007 because he manages all the NNC Meetings and other trips etc during our tenure of Office. Even now also he is doing and not Kiumukam. We have records of all these and these are known to all concerned. It is a shame for Kiumukam to question all these unfounded things out of frustration, desperation and power hungry. I will write what is fact now.
The NNC Officials have every right to write officially or individually too. What is right or what is what and who is who. Nobody can stop this as long as we are in the Office. The question of who is right and legitimate and who is wrong will appear soon! The Naga People is the judge.
If at all you Kiumukam Yimchungru appear in (attend) yesterday’s (9/4/11) NNC Meeting held at Lotha Tribal Council Hall in Lotha Region, we could have settled everything amicably as requested personally by me in the Media. We especially V. Nagi and I as one of the senior most NNC officials could have handed all the NNC official responsibilities to you and step down gracefully but you did not come. Therefore, the very best time is over and gone now and whatever the NNC officially did in the House with the strength of majority have adopted and passed officially in the House will stand and we are on that strength and will abide with the rightful stand.
Gen. Retd. I. Panger Walling,
Working President, NNC.
