•-Almighty God the creator of the heaven and the earth is the only life, wise and powerful. All the planets and the creations are under his control. For God there is no problem for his creations. The problem for God is that men and women are sinners. So sin is the root cause of disorder and chaos in the world. Mankind has to realize that the obstacle to peace is sin. The problem is not on God’s side but it is on man’s side. People all over the world have fear, insecurity and uncertainty because the world is up side down in its relationship with God.
The Bible says that God has no pleasure in the death of man (Ezekiel 18:32). God does not want that people perish in natural calamity such as earthquakes, floods or droughts. If the people turn away from their wicked ways and seek to have a right relationship with God, even an imminent threat of natural calamity such as an earthquake can be averted. This is because no natural calamity is out of control of the creator. In such an alarming situation it is more important to sound to the people to turn away from sins and pray to God than to warn the people to prepare for disaster.
The crux of the problem is more than that of global change, natural calamity and terrorism but it is that seeking god has been replaced by seeking physical, material and scientific means of solving problem. Unless having the right relationship with god is sought and god is given his place to resolve the problems, no new ray of hope will be seen. The consolation of the world lies in knowing God, believing in him, fearing him and obeying him.
