Norman Putsure College holds graduation for Class of 2026

Norman Putsure College, Chümoukedima held its graduation programme for the Class of 2026 at the college auditorium on August 22.

Chümoukedima, August 22 (MExN): Norman Putsure College, Chümoukedima held its graduation programme for the Class of 2026 at the college auditorium on August 22.

The event brought together graduating students, faculty, parents, alumni and college community members, stated a press release. It was graced by Prof (Dr) Zavise Rume, Director of Vocational Studies at International University, Nagaland as the chief guest. In his speech, Dr Rume emphasised the importance of education, perseverance, and responsibility as students transition to the next phase of their lives.

A key highlight of the programme was the Presentation of Awards and Certificates, conducted by Vizono Khesoh, Convener of the Graduation Committee, which recognised student achievements and formally culminated their college experience.

The ceremony commenced with an invocation by Lorence Ngushe, Assistant Professor of Sociology, and a welcome address by Saneinuo Putsure, Managing Director. Limayala Changkilari, Assistant Professor of English, chaired the programme.

A special Tribute to Parents was presented by Kaikho Loli, Assistant Professor of History, acknowledging the support and sacrifices of families behind the students' academic success. The faculty address was delivered by Nungsangmongla Ozukum, Assistant Professor of History, while Kenitsino Chase, representing the Class of 2026, delivered the valedictory address.

The Normanians also presented a musical ensemble during the event.

The programme concluded with an expression of gratitude by Avani Ngullie, a member of the Graduation Committee, followed by the benediction by Vilbonu Kulnu, Assistant Professor of Sociology.
