DIMAPUR, MAY 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Pensioners Association Dimapur (NPAD) has informed pensioners that monthly pensions will be paid by transfers to the respective bank accounts irrespective of the pension amount. This is as per the directives issued by the State Government as well as the State Bank of India. A press release from the NPAD President, SK Kenye therefore asked all pensioners to open bank accounts on or before September 30. In the meantime for those presently not having bank account may contact District Treasury Office, Dimapur for necessary needful action, to enable them to draw pensions during this Covid-19 lockdown period.
