Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Sunday condemned the killing of 7 persons in the attack on a convoy of the 46 Assam Rifles in Manipur earlier on November 13.
“Killing in peace time is inhuman. It is disgusting and frustrating,” NPCC President K Therie stated in a press release. Stating that all anti-peace activities are a result of ‘lethargic negotiations’, the NPCC President held the Government of India (GoI) responsible for the delay.
“GoI’s inability to rise above political parties’ interests to decide and implement solution effectively and to enforce the law of the land, are responsible for loss of lives,” Therie asserted.
The answer to all these problems is to remove the lethargic and weak government, he added, claiming that, “They are responsible for giving way to killers.”
