Kohima, March 20 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) released a publication of the party’s compilation booklet on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) sit-in protest and a leaflet on precautionary measures on pandemic Corona Virus (COVID-19) on Friday here at Central Office, Kohima.
NPF President Dr Shürhozelie Leizietsü, while releasing the booklet, said that the two issues CAA and COVID-19 have become equally important for the Naga people.
Stressing on the need to be well prepared to fight against the pandemic virus, he said that the NPF party being a regional party, will try its best to reach out to the grassroots and sensitize the people about the virus and the preventive measures against COVID-19.
On the CAA, the President said that, the Act is equally dangerous for us, as it will attack the future of the Naga people in the near future. Timely publication of the booklet and the leaflet serves a useful purpose to safeguard our physical body as well as our future, he added.
According to a press release from the NPF Press Bureau, the leaflet on COVID-19 containing eleven points is being translated into all the local dialects and will be distributed to all the interior villages for creating awareness.
