DIMAPUR, JULY 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Planning Machinery Service Association (NPMSA) has temporarily called off the agitation launched in the form of pen down strike which began since July 16, 2019.
The Association’s president Imlikokba Longkumer in a letter to the Nagaland Chief Secretary on Wednesday said that the agitation has been temporarily suspended on the assurance given that “our matter will be taken up at the earliest in the next Cabinet meeting” and “all steps taken to ensure that the service interests of the members are not put to a disadvantageous position.”
However, in the event of failure of the government to remove/expunge the post of OSD (Skill Development) from the service rules in the next Cabinet meeting, the Association said it would be compelled the agitation.
