DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The Sumi Hoho and the Sumi Frontal Organizations had an emergency meeting on the 20th July, 2011 to discuss the prevailing issues cropping out due to the presence of different factions at Zunheboto. After thorough deliberations, the following Resolutions were made were made by the House during the meeting: That, the Sumi inhabited area was declared as “Peace Zone” on the 15th January 2008 and was unanimously reiterated and reaffirmed the Resolution on the 7th July 2011 by the Sumi Baghi Hoho. Therefore, as per the Resolution, all the factions are asked to immediately withdraw from Zunheboto and confine to their respective “Designated Camps”. Secondly, the Sumi Hoho and the Sumi Frontal Organizations appealed to the “Ceasefire Monitoring Cell/Group” to fully implement the “Ceasefire Ground Rules” so as to maintain peace. Further, there shall be the Sumi General Public Meeting (Sumi Baghi Hoho) at Zunheboto on the 9th August 2011. This was informed in a press note from Vihuto Asumi, Secretary, Sumi Hoho.
