Dimapur, August 5 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) Chakhesang Region “had a critical introspection of the calamitous history of the Naga political movement and noted the manner how the Nagas were cheated repeatedly in the name of the Naga political solution.”
Stating this in a press release, MIP, NSCN (IM) added, “Given the present development where another such Naga accord is being planned in the same manner as how the 16 Points Agreement cheated the Nagas, the Chakhesang Region express determination not to allow Nagas’ honour and pride to be prostituted again.”
Therefore, it has taken an absolute stand as per earlier resolution not to accept Naga solution without a flag and constitution, it stated.
In another statement, the Naga Rengma Hills (CAA), NSCN (IM) expressed gratitude to the Collective Leadership of NSCN (IM) for giving equal opportunity to the Rengmas by inducting Joseph Rengma as a Member of the Collective Leadership NSCN (IM).
“This will go a long way to strengthen the spirit of Naga integration,” it stated.
