NSCN (IM) condoles

DIMAPUR, MARCH 28 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) today expressed grief at the demise Captain RiakeukamPame (Naga Army No. IJ-18398) of Kiusumong Battalion, Naga Army from Beisumpuikam village under Asalu Region on March 27 after a prolonged illness.

 

A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) informed that late Pame had enrolled in the Naga national service on September 20, 1997.

 

“He served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until his demise. The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifice for the Naga nation ever be cherished by all,” the press release stated.

 

It further informed that the office of the Longvibu, Naga Army bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of Major on the March 28 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation.

 

It meanwhile conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
