DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): Security forces apprehended an NSCN (K-YA) from Alahuto Colony, Zunheboto on July 17. A press release from the IGAR (N) identified the apprehended as one Corporal Aputo Awomi. “The cadre had infiltrated in Indian territory from Myanmar alongwith four accomplices in May 2020. One of whom was apprehended earlier in May. Recoveries included one 9mm pistol with two live rounds,” the press release said. The apprehended individual alongwith recoveries were handed over to Police Station, Zunheboto for further investigation, it added.
